Workout today

Today I biked 6 miles in 27 minutes and jogged 1.5 miles in 21 minutes. I'm feeling like I'm getting back on track.

I'M BACK!!!!

I know I haven't posted since May. I have been exercising here and there but today was my first REAL workout in months. I biked 6.4 miles and jogged/walked 2 miles. I have a triathlon in October to get ready for. I need to beat my last time of 1 hour 3 minutes 46 seconds.

Bay Bridge Run

On Sunday May 19 I did the Bay Bridge Run over the Coronado Bay Bridge. It was a 4 mile run and I did it in 55 minutes.








Yesterday I went on a 4 mile walk and today I biked 6 miles.

Training today

Today I biked 6.4 miles. Just heard the news that a man was killed by a great white shark in Solana Beach this morning. He was training for a triathlon. Read the story:

Back to the gym...

So I've decided that I like REAL bike rides over the ones in the gym. Today I did a 6 mile bike ride that seemed like it lasted FOREVER and jogged 1.5 miles. Friday, Saturday, Sunday it's back the real thing.

TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY!!!!

Yesterday my triathlon buddies and I went on our first REAL bike ride. Up until now I had just been training in the gym. I'm not really sure how far we biked but it was probably 3 or 4 miles. This morning I woke up and went on a 6.4 mile bike ride. It had more hills than yesterday but I am feeling comfortable about the triathlon. Only 14 more days!!!!

One day closer...

Today I biked 5 miles in 20 minutes, jogged 1.5 miles in 25 miles and swam 8 laps in 10 minutes. Only 23 days until the triathlon!!!

ONE MONTH TO GO!!!!!

Ok, the triathlon is in one month!!! Today I did the whole thing in about an hour. I think that's too slow. My feet really hurt because I'm breaking in my new shoes.

Friday and Saturday workouts

I did the whole triathlon on both Friday and Saturday in my new tri suit. I really like it. No workout Sunday because the gym was closed for Easter. I'll be back to the gym tomorrow ;-)

Workout today and new stuff!!!

Today I jogged 1.5 miles, biked 5 miles, and also did 100 crunches on the big ball. I also got new shoes and a tri suit. Yeah!!!!

I swear, I have been working out

So I have been extremely lazy with my blog. I have been going to the gym and working out. Last week I did the whole triathlon twice. Today I went to the gym and jogged 1.5 miles and biked 4 miles and did 100 crunches on one of those really big balls.

Haven't updated in a while

I have been working out and just have been forgetting to update my blog. Since I didn't have to work Monday I went to the gym: biked 5 miles, jogged 1 mile.

Tuesday biked 5 miles, jogged 1.5 miles and yesterday I did the 5 miles on the bike and jogged 1.65 miles.

I did it!!!!

I didn't have a chance to blog before we left for Julian but I did the bike, run (jog) and swim all in one day. In that order, I didn't want to swim first and go into the gym all wet. I am so happy to know that I can do it. Now I just need to try to speed up my jog. Yeah!!

Tuesday/Thursday Update & Goal for tomorrow

I forgot to update on Tuesday evening but I went to the gym and biked 5 miles and jogged 1.5 miles. Today I did the same.

My goal for tomorrow is to bike 5 miles, jog 1.5 miles and swim 200 meters (8 laps). I putting it in writing so I don't back down.

New blog

I decided to have two different blogs. One for my scrapbooking/card making and the other for my triathlon training. This weekend I didn't go to the gym but I went on a walk on Saturday. I'm aiming to get back to the gym on Tuesday.

I have a cold...

I have been teaching for less than two weeks and I'm already sick. I have a cold and don't feel like getting everyone at the gym sick too. I didn't workout yesterday or today. I'm not sure if I will go at all this weekend either.

Breaking news

I went to the gym this morning and jogged 1.5 miles in 20 minutes and biked 5 miles in 20 minutes. Now I have to go teach and have 3 hours of meetings after teaching.

The breaking news is that Cassie and Deverson got engaged and I'm going to help design and make their save the date cards, wedding invites and I am so excited.

On Friday Tyler and I went on a walk, it was a few miles long.

Saturday I biked 5 miles and jogged 1.5 mile

Sunday I jogged 1.5 mile and I tried to do it faster, it still took me 22 minutes and then it was hard to bike but I biked 5 miles.

I don't feel any different and haven't lost any weight. I was hoping to see some results by now but nothing yet.
